Going abit 70's style !!!

Sooo my usual posts are all beauty related however in order for you to get to know me a little better, I thought I'd let you see my fashion side too! Not too much but just little snips and snaps here and there!

My first snippet into my fashion will be something I've seen bracing the shelves of nearly every high street store around ( I'm a full high street girl I can only dream of designer clobber, with the exeption of a few long saving designer hang bags)
I can hear you screaming what on earth are you on about here , well it's something I have been looking at for quite some time. It the wide leg patterned trouser.
Now the topshop ones I was eyeing up I couldn't bring myself to pay near £50 for something I wasn't 100% on.

So this brand I have never ever even ventured into but it was that of red herring debenhams

Sorry about the messy photos , they are really hard to capture!

They have like a black floral patturn. Now I paid £28 for these, and they are wide but not excessively wide which I felt topshops where for me.
They claim to be very remind chic and flatter every figure ... Bonus!!

Are you guys loving this summer trend? Or going to be giving it a miss , I can't decide just yet!

Pump up the volume!!

Spool I think I'm one of many girls that gets sucked into the whole " I'll make your hair huge and full " type of hair products. And in the shop I fully honestly believe I'll have hair like Blake Lively once ive used it, however from no surprise it never happens. And I end up with 20 odd bottles of so called "amazing" hair potions.

Now this happened once again to me as I was browsing tkmaxx , and I found a tub of Cairol volume booster mask. Now this is another downfall of mine , I believe a hair mask can do every trick under the sun ... Now I dont know why I do.
So here's the little tub ...

Sooo I thought in my little head it's a professional product it surely must work some good on my "dreaming off" luscious locks!!

£3.99 worth a shot right??? I thought so, so it went into the basket and to the tills!

So it claims to strengthen my hair but also add extra volume ... Which who can complain at that really??
So the results I hear you say... For £3.99 I can't complain, I'm no saying this will give your hair loadddss of umphh but it did give my hair some extra life and kick it seems! Further it does feel like I've got extra hair if that's even possible!
Smelled quite yummy too!! Soooo overall verdict definitely a worth while grab if you can :).
Anyone have any staple volumising products you definitely would recomend?

Go Grease!!

So this week I have been sampling the new Batiste Brunette Dry Shampoo. It seems to me that every other week Batiste are bringing out a new product!
This bottle claims to still banish the grease whilst added extra colour to banish any nasty roots that are peaking through! Which to me who currently has little roots starting to appear seemed fab!
I further found that the original batiste if applied wrong turned me into my nana! Not a good look!

So my verdict.... works the same as normal batiste's however just adds a little colour to the roots!
However this is a little more money than the normal one coming in at £3.05, and if you use this the rate i do (somethimes just to add extra umph!!) a normal one is just as good!

Magic man!!!

Some of you all may have heard of a man named Scott Cornwall, he claims to bring salon quality products to your home!
So some of you may know I have really really dyed black hair ( which has been dyed every colour under the sun for about 7/8 years) and recently I decided I wanted rid of the harsh blackness! However I felt my only route was to have patience and grow it out and keep having regular trims.... Trust me you need bags of patience when your roots are pretty blonde!!

Now I don't really know how I found out about this product i sort of had a lucky treasure hunt!

The product ..... Scott Cornwall colour b4 extra strength.

"The science ..... Colour B4 shrinks the artificial dye molecules in the hair, enabling you to simply wash them away. What’s more Colour B4 does not touch your natural hair pigment so you are left with the colour which lay beneath your artificial shade. Colour B4 takes you back to your lightest shade. It will return your hair to its natural colour if the artificial hair colour applied is darker than your natural level.

If the artificial hair colour applied is lighter than your natural colour, the natural pigment within your hair has been chemically lightened. Although Colour B4 will remove the artificial dye, you will still notice your natural hair colour has lightened. In this situation (and to re-create your natural shade) simply select a hair colorant close to your own natural depth and tone. However, always select by one shade lighter than your (natural) depth to ensure a realistic result."

To me this sounded abit too good to be true, but hey ho I gave this product a whirl. I would advise having a little help as this is quite a lengthy process and it is usefull to have an extra pair of hands!

So the process, I kept my black over dyed hair dry! Mixed bottle A&B together ( just like hair dye! ) and covered my hair in it ... I then wrapped my hair in cling film and waited for the magic to happen.. Theres a bit of a nasty smell to this ... 60 mins later... Time to rinse.. This is when the product starts to work... I rinsed my hair with warm water for 5 mins then applied half of bottle C and massaged in for 10 mins and god it does lather up ALOT!! Washed again for 5 mins then applied the second half of bottle C just like shampoo.. I did apply conditioner as my hair felt quite dry!

Blow dryed.....

The results... My hair has no black at all.. No were to be seen, the end are now a medium browny colour, there is slight shades of a copper colour and now instead of 1 inch of new roots I now have around 3inches. I think this is a really good result as I wanted to return to a brown rather than black. Also my hair is super super soft!!
Overall a fab product!!!!

Anyone used a product by Scott???
